Pink, pink, pink

Did I ever tell you how much I like the color pink? Well, I REEEELLY like the color pink. Not sure what I am going to do with all this pink yarn but it sure is fun to make and look at. Enjoy!

Angus' find

Over the past couple of days Angus has been patrolling the fence line and barking quite a bit. I could never see what he saw until today. Can you see it?

It's a baby raccoon! This is one smart raccoon to stay out of his way.

The baby raccoon is not to be confused with this little creature roaming our backyard, which may or may not be a distant relative of a raccoon:>)

What makes him happy, what makes me happy.

Today was a good day for John and I. After 15 months John got his '63 corvette split window back, completely restored to it's original condition. He picked this car up in the '70's that was tucked away in some person's barn in very bad condition. It made many cross country moves with John and sat in our garage for years, with only a stray cat getting any use out of it by sleeping on it. I was just thankful SOMEONE was appreciating it! Isn't she a beauty!

Now for what makes ME happy... Ice blue rasberry lemonade and berry blue Kool-aid dying my yarn! I am addicted to Kool-aid lately but not for drinking (do people actually drink this stuff?) I can't spin fast enough to use all the colors floating around in my head. The second picture doesn't do the hank of yarn justice. It's such a pretty blue.
